## How to Stop Getting Triggered in Relationships (and Feel More in Control)

Do you ever react in relationships in ways that surprise you?
Maybe you feel overwhelmed during conflict, shut down emotionally, overthink conversations, or find yourself needing reassurance to feel secure.

Many people assume these reactions mean something is wrong with them—but in reality, these responses are often connected to how the nervous system responds to perceived emotional threat.

When your nervous system feels unsafe, your body automatically shifts into survival responses like fight, flight, or shutdown. This can make communication harder, intensify emotional reactions, and create patterns in relationships that feel difficult to break.

In this workshop, you will learn how your nervous system influences the way you react in relationships—and how to begin responding from a place of greater calm and control.

### In this workshop you will learn:

• Why emotional triggers happen in relationships
• How your nervous system drives reactions during conflict
• The difference between reacting vs responding
• Practical tools to regulate your nervous system in the moment
• How to feel more emotionally safe and grounded in relationships

This workshop is ideal for individuals who:
• Feel overwhelmed or reactive during relationship conflict
• Tend to overthink or seek reassurance from partners
• Notice patterns of emotional reactivity or shutdown
• Want to feel more calm, secure, and in control of their responses

You will leave with a deeper understanding of your emotional responses and practical strategies to help you navigate relationships with greater awareness and stability.
