
What we’re about
This is a group for people with chronic illness, be it something that effects the mind, the body, or both, who are working towards healing. It is a space to share our experience of this journey-books we've been reading, podcasts we've been listening to, types of meditation or energy healing practices we've been implementing, holistic therapies we've tried out, trauma therapy to heal old wounds-whatever your healing practices look like, this is an opportunity to talk about what's working for you or what new things you're curious to try.
We will come together in weekly Zoom calls to talk about our healing practices. The idea is to be energised by the positive atmosphere of people working towards recovery from whatever ailments they might be facing, to feel inspired to try new things, and to strengthen our hope and faith that healing and growth are possible.
If this sounds like something you would benefit from, we'd love to have you come along! It's always great to connect with people in a similar boat, and know that you are not alone.
My name is Jen, and I've been dealing with mental health issues for a couple of decades, and physical health issues for about 8 years. I've had periods where those conditions have been in remission and I've been much healthier and happier, so I know first hand that healing is possible!
I'm currently reading Joe Dispenza's 'You are the Placebo', which is full of stories of people healing from all manner of conditions using the power of the mind, and am experimenting with different forms of meditation and challenging self limiting beliefs. Come and join me and tell me all about the things you've come across and how they've been going for you :)
