Maintaining optimism, hope and positivity for healing

I hope you'll come along and join us for a discussion on how to remain positive whilst dealing with mental and physical health issues, and why maintaing a good outlook and perspective on life is so important.
I know from my personal experience of living with and trying to heal from mental and physical health issues that sometimes it can be tough going. I can easily fall into the mental traps of hopelessness, defeatism and despondency, and wind up asking myself 'what's the point?'
Maintaining hope and faith that change is possible is a really crucial aspect of healing. In a study where 1000's of cases of remission from health issues were investigated to uncover the commonalities, these were the nine beneficial factors that were identified in all cases:

⚕️ Taking control of your health
🌿 Using herbs and supplements
💡 Following your intuition
🤯 Releasing suppressed emotions
😃 Increasing positive emotions
🫂 Embracing social support
🙏🏼 Deepening your spiritual connection
♥️ Have a strong reason for living
As you can see, increasing positive emotions plays a part in healing, arguably the most important part in my opinion. Last week I read the case study of a chap who healed himself with laughter!
In the research that I've done on healing, again and again I come across the importance of belief and how powerful the placebo and nocebo effect are, and how maintaining a positive, optimistic outlook upregulates genes for healing and down regulates those for inflammation and illness.
