In each class of this Laughter Yoga series we will combine joint warm-ups and stretches with playful practices of "intentional" laughter, which can trigger spontaneous, joyful laughter. Since our bodies don't distinguish between simulated and spontaneous laughter, this practice gives us physical and mental health benefits like stress reduction and improved mood. We will finish each class with a guided relaxation and / or meditation technique so we leave class feeling refreshed and grounded.

Yoga Therapist and facilitator Lorien Neargarder recommends attending as many classes in the series as you can to amplify the benefits, but drop-ins are always welcome. Note: no class Jan 15 or Feb 5.

Chairs are available for anyone with mobility issues; no flexibility required and no previous experience necessary. All are welcome!

This series is offered with a suggested donation of $10/class or $60 for the series; we ask that you contribute financially based on your ability and what you value as a way to ensure this offering is accessible to all.
