How understanding our nervous system responses supports tenderness, clarity, and connection

This experiential session offers an accessible overview of how our nervous system shapes reactivity, stress, and connection. Reactivity doesn't only mean snapping or β€œflipping our lid,” but also patterns such as turning against ourselves through harsh inner criticism, shutting down, pulling away, or people-pleasing.

We’ll explore how reactivity in its many forms often reflects unmet needs for safety, support, connection and belonging. Through mindfulness, self-compassion, and needs-based communication, we can cultivate a sense of inner safety that allows understanding, authentic expression, and even joy to flow more freely.

This session includes gentle teaching, guided reflection, and simple experiential practices, offering participants language and practical tools to relate to themselves and others with more empathy, steadiness, authenticity and ease.
