Healing Trauma-Related Symptoms – CHO Method
The CHO Method provides a powerful path to healing trauma-related symptoms, utilizing the CHO Method and The Mind Surgery Workbook, developed by author Steven Thistle. If you're struggling with the lasting impact of trauma, caused by your military experience, this group provides FREE support groups and (pay what you can afford) one-on-one, compassionate, deep healing with Trauma Healing Coach Steven Thistle.
There is a $5 annual membership fee to help cover basic expenses, but the support groups are completely FREE. One-on-one peer coaching is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis; no one will be turned away due to a lack of funds.
I'm sorry, this group is only for VETERANS who are struggling with PTSD or Complex PTSD. If you are suffering from either condition but are not a veteran, please get in touch with me to schedule a Discovery Session at Calendly.com/ConsciouslyHealing. The cost of sessions is entirely dependent on your ability to pay, but no one will be turned away.
● Please note: Until we have enough members to conduct group sessions, this Meetup is currently for one-on-one coaching only. Group sessions will be free, and I, or a co-organizer, will use the CHO method to assist you on your journey of recovery when we have enough members to facilitate that. One-on-one sessions are offered on a sliding scale, which is 100% dependent on your ability to pay.
My heart feels the pain of veterans who are unable to access the care they need from the Veterans Administration. With further cuts to the VA possible, I aim to offer a unique approach to healing that is not typically found in traditional therapy. An approach I created in my darkest moments, trying to figure out why dozens of therapists could not heal my traumatized mind and body.
Steven created this method after surviving symptoms that no therapist, medication, or alternative approach could relieve. Grounded in lived experience and designed to guide others through their transformational journey, the CHO Method focuses on core healing processes that go far beyond symptom management or traditional therapies.
Join us if you’re ready to explore healing through a trauma-informed, peer-supported process based on a workbook written to save a life—and now, possibly yours.
