The Melbourne Health Accelerator (MHx) provides high-growth potential HealthTech start-ups with opportunity to access to world-class clinicians and researchers, participate in a curriculum tailored to the needs of healthcare entrepreneurs and an in-situ workspace at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

The MHx program enables clinicians, and researchers to pursue an entrepreneurial mindset within a structured collaborative framework. By partnering with key stakeholders across multiple industries, our model of commercial-collaboration delivers critical insights and leading expertise. A variety of workshops and hands-on events in every facet of running a health-related business include topics such as clinical trials, regulatory requirements, cybersecurity, compliance, hospital procurement, commercial pilots, intellectual property, licensing, fundraising, marketing and other critical areas. The program will cumulate with Demonstration Week, an opportunity to shine for investors, corporate partners, hospital stakeholders, media and other guests.

The next program intake is scheduled for mid-2017.

In this information session features a presentation by Dr. Patricio Sepulveda, Director of Business Development at Melbourne Health. Dr Sepulveda will share his thoughts on entrepreneurship and commercialisation in healthcare and his vision for Melbourne Health.
