WHAT: The Healthcare Device and Data Meetup® event is a slide free presentation zone. Companies chosen to present will engage in a dynamic moderated discussion, interacting with a select panel of providers, administrators, investors, and technologists to share insights and gain valuable feedback.

Our goal is a facilitated exchange of ideas and recommendations that will help these companies refine their solutions and benefit our community at large.

THE ISSUE: Health Tech Companies Confronting the Opioid Crisis

The Department of Health and Human Services estimates that 11.4 million people in the United States misuse prescription opioids and current figures from National Institute of Drug Abuse indicate that the national death rate from opioid overdose is 14.6 deaths per 100,000 persons.

For our first topic, we will explore technologies that are being developed to confront this pressing epidemic. Each company will present a synopsis of their product, market, data, and growth strategies and then field questions from a panel of thought leaders.
