What happens when an AI assistant confidently summarizes a medical record that accidentally combines information from two different patients?
As AI becomes more integrated into healthcare, accurate patient identity matching is no longer just a data quality concern. It's a patient safety priority.
Saiteja will explore real-world challenges in patient matching, from duplicate records and name variations to complex identity scenarios that traditional testing often misses. Using synthetic data, he'll share practical approaches to privacy-preserving record matching and safeguards that help ensure the right patient information reaches AI systems.

Meet Our Speaker
Saiteja specializes in patient identity matching and large-scale healthcare data systems. At CVS Health, he designs solutions for real-time demographic events and patient record reconciliation. He is also an IEEE Senior Member and published researcher whose work spans privacy-preserving patient matching, anomaly detection, and healthcare AI.
