Hey everyone, my name is Danielle. First off, however you want to get involved or contribute, please do! am a Recreation Therapist at a local hospital here in Reno. I work primarily with the Inpatient Psychiatry population, but often merge to other demographics as needed. This group is for peeps looking just to make friends, meet people or, those continuing to face the every day challenges of working in the Healthcare field, and wanting to reincorporate something else meaningful into your time!
The purpose of this group is to bring people together. Our mental health is such an important factor in our everyday lives and this is an opportunity for us to recharge together.
I hope to start out by setting up various meet-ups that may range from outdoor fun, physical activity, social stuff, maybe working with animals, expressive arts, wellness challenges. In community and virtual offerings if/when possible.
