Quantum Computing in Healthcare Stammtisch

Details

Quantum computing is an exciting technology on the rise, and at Health Hackers e.V., we're keen to explore its implications and opportunities for healthcare. We invite all interested individuals to join us for an informal exchange about this transformative technology at our regular Health Hacker Stammtisch.
Our goal is to create a core group of like-minded individuals passionate about quantum computing. In these meetings, we will discuss academic and industrial advancements, implications, opportunities, and potential threats. Some questions we aim to explore include:

  • What could we achieve with almost limitless computing power?
  • How can quantum computing revolutionize in diagnostic imaging and precision medicine?
  • How can quantum computing simulate complex biological systems, like protein folding or neural networks, to enhance diagnostic imaging and advance treatments for diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's?
  • What are the challenges and ethical considerations of using quantum computing in diagnostic imaging regarding data privacy, security, and system integration?

As hosts for this topic-driven Stammtisch, we have Sebastian and Christian, both founding members of Health Hackers e.V. Sebastian is a key opinion leader on quantum computing in healthcare, working at Siemens Healthineers in its core technology department. Christian is a trained chemist, deeply curious about the topic, and eager to connect people around this exciting field.

Due to appointment conflict we meet in our Vereinsheim @ Thalermühle

We look forward to engaging discussions over some cold drinks.

Best regards,
Sebastian & Christian
