February VEGAN Potluck - New Indoor Location in Rocklin!
Details
One of our fabulous members is hosting our next Potluck!
Thank you Vicky for hosting us at your beautiful home.
The address is 3138 Stardust Street Rocklin CA 95677
Please join us for another delicious potluck!
If you haven't yet attended one of our potlucks in the past 4 years, you simply don't know what you're missing! This is a family friendly event and kids are welcome!!!! (So no smoking or alcohol please).
Please make sure your dish TRULY serves AT LEAST 12 ADULTS!!!
12 servings is at least one cup of food per serving.
If you don't cook, then consider bringing:
- 4-6 bottles of chilled Martinelli's or Sparkling water with a bottle opener
- Something from a restaurant like a large tray of rice or steamed veggies
- A few tubs of good quality premade guacamole or oil-free hummus from Whole Foods and baked oil-free tostadas (Sprouts has them)
We have been getting an over abundance of fruit and desserts at the potlucks, so unless your dessert is really special and homemade (not store bought) and your fruit is really good FRESH fruit that serves at least 12, please bring savory.
Everyone is welcome whether they are Vegan or not; however, we do request that ONLY VEGAN FOOD be brought.
Please keep in mind that many follow a specific vegan diet (gluten-free, oil-free, SOS-free, etc.) or have severe food allergies or are following a special diet (doctor's orders) so we kindly ask that you bring a piece of paper with all of the ingredients in your dish listed legibly. There is not paper or writing implements at the potluck.
PLEASE BRING UTENSILS TO SERVE YOUR DISH.
If you are bringing a guest who is not vegan, you must impress the importance of this to them that all the food be VEGAN and LEGIBLY LABELED.
Sadly, some food with DAIRY AND EGGS and HONEY was brought in the past. There are people who have food allergies and medical conditions!!!
We will supply paper plates, forks, cups and napkins, but also feel free to bring your own reusable tableware and water bottle.
We have had requests that:
- Members consider bringing their own reusable plates and utensils and
- That we also write our names on the ingredient list. People often want to know who to thank or ask questions about their dish.
Hope to see you there with a vegan dish to share!
