Heard Nature Photographers Club Meeting

Details
Welcome to the Heard Nature Photography Club monthly meeting!
We meet at 10:00 AM on the second Saturday of each month at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary. In June we should be back in Laughlin Hall in the main science museum building.
Out June speaker will be Linda Danaho:
Improving Nature Photography Impact with Simple Composition
Composition can make or break a photograph. It’s the silent element that holds a viewer’s attention. Many nature photographers struggle to simplify a scene to tell a compelling story.
We will discuss composition in flower photography, as well as general landscape photography.
Linda Donaho's biogrphy:
After attending Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, I spent nine years in New York City in the fashion industry, first as a photographer’s assistant and then as an agent representing top fashion photographers and stylists. I developed a love for nature photography during this time as a way to escape the hectic city life.
Upon returning to my home state of Texas, I transitioned to part-time photography, focusing on shooting sports, dancers, portraits, and weddings on the side.
I switched my focus to nature photography and started selling my work online and at art fairs after the COVID-19 lockdown. I specialize in flowers and intimate landscapes, with a focus on simple, yet elegant compositions.
