What Judges Look for When Judging Photography Contests

Rob Hull is a Certified Professional Photographer, who teaches workshops all over the world with his partner Tony Corbell. In addition, Rob runs a successful photography business of his own. Rob’s also been a popular photography instructor with SMU’s Continuing and Professional Education. Since 1998, over 3,000 students have attended his classes and programs at the SMU-in-Plano campus. In addition to classes and seminars, Rob also hosts photography workshops throughout the world.

In February, Rob will give us tips on what judges look for when adjudicating photo contests. This should help us decide what to enter in the annual contest as well as how to post process our images for the greatest impact.
