About us
Welcome to Ear-Resistible Community!
We are a supportive and inclusive group created for individuals of ALL ages with hearing loss. This group is led by a Doctor of Audiology and serves as a fresh and vibrant space where members can connect, share resources, and uplift each other in their unique journeys. Family members and close friends are always encouraged to come to our events too and are welcome!
Unlike most medical centered support groups, this community is designed to be a social hub where we can build friendships, share experiences, and have meaningful (and fun!) conversations with people who understand the hearing loss world and the challenges that are faced.
🛑 Important Note: While this group is proudly sponsored by an audiologist, it is not a medical appointment or consultation.
**If you do have questions about your personal hearing health or want to schedule an appointment you can call our clinic at 919-256-2898 or email me at dr.shopovick@nowhearthisclinic.com*
✅ What we’re here for:
- Meeting people who share similar lived experiences
- Building a strong, supportive community
- Having real, meaningful conversations that go beyond just hearing loss
- Socializing and having fun!
