Collaboration: A Deep Dive

Details
Following on from the inspiring story in the last Meetup told by Ale and Jordana (thanks again!), in this session we'll be taking a deep dive into Collaboration...
When Alistair Cockburn first created the Heart of Agile he posed the question "Independent of anything else going on, how will you increase collaboration?"
Tonight's final session for 2019 is discussing the topic:
"What does it take for one person to be perceived as a strong collaborator and not another?"
This gets to the deep essence of why some people have a natural affinity to collaborate with others, and some have a natural tendency to the opposite. Neither is right or wrong - both just "are" - and context matters.
We are seeking practical ways to uncover better ways of increasing collaboration where it is required - and even to diagnose when it's not (which can also be beneficial). Can we collaborate too much?
Tonight isn't about theory, it's about novel and good practices that you are doing and which others can learn from.
The deep dive will be followed by our Xmas gathering - because we are close to the end of the year and only one more Meetup with us two is probably enough! Drinks straight after the Meetup will be at a venue to be decided but in the CBD.
This meetup we again have our new sponsor Alchemy Solutions. (https://www.alchemysolutions.com.au).
Alchemy Solutions are an Australian-based professional services firm that creates sustained change for corporate, government and small to medium enterprise customers around the world.
