Holiday Cacao Ceremony: Honoring All Traditions

Details

Join us Sunday for a holiday cacao ceremony celebrating diverse traditions and welcoming the new year with open hearts. This gathering creates space to honor both ancient and modern celebrations while setting meaningful intentions for the path ahead.

Feel free to invite loved ones who might benefit from this intentional pause during the busy holiday season. If you can't join us this time, we'll host more ceremonies in the new year.

New to Cacao? What to Expect:
Ceremonial cacao is pure, minimally processed chocolate in its most potent form. Unlike regular hot chocolate, this sacred drink is prepared with intention and prayer. The experience is gentle yet profound, often bringing feelings of openness, connection, and presence. During this special holiday ceremony, we'll work with cacao's heart-opening properties to:

  • Honor diverse cultural traditions and celebrations
  • Release what no longer serves us from the past year
  • Set meaningful intentions for the year ahead
  • Connect deeply with community during this sacred season

Schedule

  • Arrival & Welcome: 20 minutes for settling in, sharing holiday tea, and meeting fellow participants
  • Guided Ceremony: We will offer several servings of wild-harvested Peruvian cacao, intention setting, sharing, meditation
  • Integration & Connection: 30 minutes for reflection, community building, and optional sharing of holiday traditions

Note on Cost The ceremony contribution is $20. We offer a sliding scale, especially during this giving season. Come as you are, and contribute what you can - this medicine should be accessible to all who feel called.
Your contribution supports:

  • Wild-harvested Peruvian cacao
  • Our cozy gathering space with seasonal decorations
  • Ceremonial preparation and holiday tea
  • Intention-setting materials

What to Bring

  • Water bottle
  • Journal (optional)
  • Comfortable, warm clothing
  • Your authentic self

Important Health Information
Cacao contains natural caffeine and theobromine. Please check with your healthcare provider before participating if you:
- Are pregnant or nursing
- Have a heart condition
- Take MAOI medications
- Have high blood pressure

I look forward to gathering in ceremony during this special time of year. Together we'll create a sacred container to honor traditions, open our hearts, and plant seeds of intention for the year ahead. Please invite anyone you feel would benefit from this medicine and community connection.
