Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Heart of Now Hybrid Workshop!

# Where Heart of Now and NVC meet magic happens!

Join us in-person for a life changing Heart of Now Event.
Often times we have a hard time communicating in a way that works for us and the person we are communicating with. We often either keep quiet and do not communicate at all, try and speak and feel misunderstood, or lash out explosively. In the end we are left feeling unheard and unsatisfied.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a powerful way to connect on a deep level with another human being. Instead of focusing on the story someone is telling us, or on what we are perceiving that they are telling us, we tune into what that person is feeling and needing. We also tune into what we ourselves are feeling and needing. The result is a satisfying,
close connection, even between people who appear to be radically different either personally or politically. With NVC, deep understanding, peace and healing are possible!
In this workshop you will use Heart of Now skills to process the emotions you have around a conflictual situation. You will find clarity in your feelings and needs. You will then learn the principles of NVC and practice using these skills to communicate your needs and feelings in a way that feels good to you and the person listening.

If you are interested in taking a Heart of Now skill building workshop and have some interpersonal growth experience, you may be able to take our assistant training Friday, January 27th and make a weekend of it. Enquire for details.

Price: $150-$250 sliding scale. (HoN Assistants $100) Contact us if you need a payment plan.
We are a nonprofit and donations above the cost of the workshop will go to scholarships for those who cannot afford to take this training but very much need it! Our scholarship fund is currently depleted. You may contribute above the cost of the workshop if you want to put scholarship funds into this event.

You will get a lunch break and a couple bathroom breaks. Bring a sack lunch as you will not have time to leave site.
Invite others you know that might be drawn to this work. It’s always a gift to have those close to you learn these skills as well so you can practice in your immediate life. This will also give you an opportunity to deepen your connection.
