Reiki Level 2 - Okuden

Reiki, commonly known in the West for it's hands on healing, is a spiritual system developed by Japanese man, Sensei Mikao Usui, as a path to healing and enlightenment. It's commonly known to offer fantastic results in reducing stress and anxiety and restoring feelings of peace and well-being.

This Reiki Level 2 - Okuden course will be held over a weekend.
10am to 4.30pm each day.
It is available to those who've already completed Level 1 - Shoden.
Over these 2 days, you will continue to build on your foundation of Reiki principles and continue to practice the Reiki Precepts, meditation techniques and the art of "hands on healing" for self and others.
You will also be adding the tools of symbols and mantras, and will learn the art of distance, or remote, healing.
You will receive a further 4 Reiki attunements and have the opportunity to practice hands on healing and remote healing.
This is the level required to gain accreditation as a practitioner, which also enables you to get insurance. (if you choose).

The following level, Master Level - Shinpiden, usually taken after 12 months of practice, and meaning "mystery teachings", is the time to go deeper into your practice still. This class is also the teaching level and usually taken over a 3 day period. At this time, you're given the master symbol and further techniques, learning to truly embody the Art of Being Reiki.
