Robert Cailliau normally doesn’t make any public appearances anymore, but to celebrate 10 years madewithlove he gladly wanted to make an exception. ~ About Robert Cailliau ~

Robert Cailliau (born 26 January 1947) is a Belgian informatics engineer who proposed a hypertext system for CERN and collaborated with Tim Berners-Lee on WWW from before it got its name. He designed the historical logo of the WWW, involved the European Commission through the WISE project in 1993, ensured that CERN put the web in the public domain (1993), organized the first International World Wide Web Conference at CERN in 1994 and played an important role in setting up the Web Consortium.
