Work Party in Green Swamp East 🤍 Columbus Day Monday❗️

SWAMPERS! LOPPERS! MOWERS! 🌸 CAESARSWEED VIGILANTEES! 🔸 Celebrate Columbus Day with your fellow VOLUNTEERS on the White Trail as it meanders for 1.5 miles toward Tillman Campsite! 🐠 Meet at 7:15am at GSE's Rockridge Road Trailhead to sign in with Activity Leaders and to finalize crews & responsibilities. 📌 After a brief but important "TAIL GATE TALK", we'll drive together to the White Trail's Weekend Loop to 'work-out' in everyone's favorite GREEN SWAMP! 🐟

🟠 If you are "talented" at specific tasks, such as driving a DR Mower, please let us know! 🟧 If you're NEW to trail maintenance, Heartland's Public Relations Chair — Sue2 — and our Activity Leaders will help train you for SUCCESS! And if you're Italian, or would LIKE to be, wear red, white and/or green to celebrate Columbus "discovering" America!

🌴 To stay SAFE during this Holiday Work Party, you must wear CLOSED TOED & STURDY SHOES or BOOTS and 👖LONG PANTS. 🥼 Long sleeves, gloves🧤 and BUG SPRAY are also recommended. 💦 Please bring at least 2 liters of water & some energy-filled snacks in a comfortable backpack. If you have them, please also bring loppers, folding saws, hard hats ⛑ and eye protection -- sunglasses or prescription glasses are fine. 😎 Ear protection will be provided. 👂
