HeartSpace Oslo: Masks We Wear – And Lessons on True Vulnerability
What is this event about?
We all wear masks.
Some are soft – a polite smile, a confident voice, a practiced story.
Others are heavy – shaped by old fear, rejection, or the belief that who we truly are isn't quite enough.
In this gathering, we meet in a warm and quiet space to reflect on the masks we wear – and what begins to unfold when we slowly take them off.
I will begin the evening by sharing a few short, personal stories:
small but honest moments where something real peeked through the mask.
After each little story, a simple question will be offered – an invitation to reflect, write, or share from your own experience.
This is not a performance.
There is no pressure to talk or to reveal more than you want to.
It’s a space of presence, tenderness, and honest conversation.

Who is this for?
For anyone who longs to be a little more real –
to be seen, to listen deeply, or to simply rest in the company of others who feel the same.
Whether you’re new to Oslo or have lived here all your life,
you are welcome – exactly as you are.
The location is a lovely and secluded garden at Ullern, Oslo, Noreveien 18 - if the weather permits, we will sit on blankets, and share warm stories. If the weather gods are not willing, we will go inside into my apartment.
I hope you will find time, and an open heart to come and reflect with me on this topic.
Warm greetings
Patricia Kraft
About the host
My name is Patricia Kraft, and it truly warms my heart to invite you into this group. I’m a film director and visual storyteller, but most of all, I’m simply a human being who loves deep conversations about what it means to be alive, to care, and to connect. For more than 15 years I’ve also taught Norwegian, guiding people through the language and, just as often, into the questions of our shared humanity.u
