This group is invite only for the hard core members of East Valley Rockers.
- What your group is about and what you'll do at your events
This group is about Jeep rock crawlers. We'll slowly destroy our Jeeps crawling them up insane rocks where no one should go.
- Who should join your group
This group is invite only from vetted members of the main East Valley Rockers group that have rigs capable of handling extreme trails and the right attitude. Jeeps, buggys, some modified small trucks only please!
- Any dues or fees you plan to charge members
This group will have an annual dues, amount to be determined, instead of a fee per run (excluding runs with expert guides). Easy/Moderate runs posted in the main East Valley Rockers group will be reposted here without the fee. Capacity may be limited so we don't have 20 Jeeps crammed on a trail ride but I'll work as many from this group in as possible (and do my best to estimate how many may no-show on the regular EVRockers side)

This group affiliated with the business trade name East Valley Rockers, a subsidiary of UnterseebootAZ LLC.
ALL RUNS WILL BE KID AND PET FRIENDLY. No this doesn't mean we will be minding our P's and Q's like we're in church but you are welcome to bring your child or dog along (cats too!). Remember than your child or pet is YOUR responsibility! I have zero parenting skills....fair warning!
If you are in this group it's pretty much assumed you have the following equipment or the skills to drive like you do:
4" or more suspension/body lift
35" or larger off road tires AND a working spare
Front and rear lockers
Recovery gear, recovery points front and rear, winch
CB radio
Ability to act as a spotter
Helpful, welcoming, generally positive attitude toward other Heavy Metal members and East Valley Rockers members on combined runs. We all learned somewhere! Inspire confidence but never push someone to go outside their comfort zone.

Depending on the number of people on a run, try to keep to the rule of "three attempts at an obstacle and then you bypass or winch". Your winch is just another tool, use it! a

For 2021 included in your dues is $200 towards Joe's 4x4 Off Road Recovery should his services be needed on a run you do with Heavy Metal. This helps get you unstuck and/or back to a paved highway. Typically Joe's services start at $300-$400 so this benefit will soften the blow if necessary. Of course my full complement of recovery gear will be utilized prior to calling in the cavalry!
