Deep Dive into Hedera Smart Contracts Service 2.0

A few months back we announced an upgrade to our smart contracts service. With this announcement, there wasn't too much spoken about all the work that our engineering team poured into making this a reality, so for this meetup we are excited to be joined by members of the Hedera engineering team who helped make this happen, Richard Bair, VP of Software Engineering, and Danno Ferrin, Principal Software Engineer.

Richard and Danno will share all the details of what went into making the Hedera Smart Contract Service 2.0 a reality. This includes updating the EVM to support changes made in the London fork and designing a new database architecture that permits the speed and scalability of smart contracts on the Hedera network.
