What we’re about
The Hedgesian Community of Taipei is a community of people who enjoy the work of Chris Hedges and who will take the next step of taking action.
We will build a community for the sake of community and organize acts of civil disobedience.
Our current goal is to stop the genocide and holocaust in Gaza by Israel.
This is a serious commitment.
We don't do police approved weekend marches.
This is not our hobby.
We are not, as Chris Hedges says, boutique activists.
We are friends because we socialize and we are comrades because we act.
We are friends so sometimes we'll meet for a meal together and we are comrades because sometimes we'll take action together.
Until we have our own venue, we'll meet every Thursday night at ROXY 36 CAFE 樂嬉咖啡餐館 7pm.
Our first meeting will be 15 May 2025.
