#2 The Wisdom of Trees; Trust, Harmony and Letting Go

Details
Our second gathering invites us to step into the silent teachings of the trees — to trust the flow of nature and the cycles of life.
The strength of the trees lies in presence: rooted deep in the unseen darkness of the earth, nourished by invisible threads of connection, while at the same time stretching skyward, and letting the wind weave its song through rustling leaves.
This evening, we will journey into the depths of the grove, drawing inspiration from the trees’ quiet wisdom: release the leaves that have completed their time, rest in stillness through the winter, and allow new buds to blossom when the moment of renewal arrives.
Through ancient myths and rituals, we'll explore how nature and Mother Earth have been perceived and revered across cultures — as symbols of resilience, transformation, and sacred balance. With paintings, literature, and music as our companions, we will uncover an artful way of seeing which reveals the trust and calm strength hidden within the natural cycles of life.
To deepen this experience, we'll engage in a shamanic tree-meditation practice — an ancient technique of attunement with nature, guiding us to grow in harmony with the living world…
“…When we are stricken and cannot bear our lives any longer,
then a tree has something to say to us:
Be still! Be still! Look at me!
Life is not easy, life is not difficult.
Those are childish thoughts.
…..
Whoever has learned how to listen to trees
no longer wants to be a tree.
He wants to be nothing except what he is.
That is home.
That is happiness.”
