Public Summer Thargelia Ritual

Details
Join us to celebrate a late summer Thargelia for Apollon and Artemis!
Thargelia was a festival during the first part of the grain harvest. In ancient Greece, that happened in the spring, but our climate is very different! For us, the start of the grain harvest is around now.
At Thargelia, the grain still stands in the fields and is vulnerable to pests and disease. Therefore, we sacrifice to Apollon to guard the fragile crop.
This ritual will be done with the ADF group, so we'll be following ADF ritual style.
All people of good will are welcome! Attendees under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian.
This ritual will be outdoors.
Offerings will be provided. However, please feel free to bring personal offerings if you wish. If you have any questions please contact us!
