Details
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming online event by KSGG, a volunteer goodwill guide club in Kanagawa Japan.
Have you heard of the word “Samurai”?
Originally, Samurai were soldiers who served the emperor. In the 12th century, Japan’s first samurai government was established in Kamakura. This shogunate system continued for about 700 years until the Meiji period .
We would like to invite you to join us as we explore the samurai town of Kamakura and learn about how Japanese swords were made during those times.
When you imagine a beach under blue skies, yellow sand comes to mind. But Kamakura' s beaches look greyish dark to black. Why do you think they are like this?
Kamakura is just one hour train ride from Tokyo.
We would appreciate it if you could join us for this exciting event and learn more about Kamakura and Japanese swords.
We hope to see you soon! (Kaguya)
