If you live in Beirut, or Lebanon as a whole, let's connect over coffee, a boardgame event, a late night discussion, a coworking session, or a hike outside the city. I am here to make visiting Lebanon feel like home again.
I am living in between Istanbul, Beirut and Markham. As I move in between these cities (and possibly more), I am looking forward to meeting new people, forming connections, and a sense of belonging wherever I go. I spend most of the days in Istanbul with an approximate 1 month in Canada and 2 in Lebanon every year.
For now, this group will change its location as I move, but in the future I might create dedicated groups for every city. Who knows!

How've you been surviving in Lebanon?
Stories - Verdun, Beirut, Lebanon, Beirut, LBI have been living in Istanbul for the past 5 years. Each time I come to Lebanon, I feel "makhnoo2" I get back into survival mode, and I start counting the days to go back. Everything has changed here, I feel disconnected. I enjoy time with family and friends, but beyond that I feel the whole country has become unfamiliar. How are you coping here? Have you thought of leaving? Have you left and came back? Why? How do you stay connected? Let us meet on Wednesday October 21 and discuss over coffee.
