Point Ruston Walk (w/ possible refreshment stop)

For this walk, we meet in the Point Defiance Park parking lot between the pond area and the Asian garden/pagoda. If you go past the garden, you have gone too far. I tried to show exactly the best place to meet with the pin placement on the map below.

Once everyone is present, we will walk toward the bridge that goes over the marina parking lot and catch a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier (weather permitting) and gorgeous view of the sound, Vashon Island, and Dash Point/Brown's Point. We will make our way to the main sidewalk that goes along the waterfront, then keep walking on past the condos. After the condos, we will turn around. At this time, if anyone wants ice cream, we can head toward Ice Cream Social and buy a scoop or two. Then we head back to our cars the way we came (unless anyone wants to add a loop around the Dunes Park to add some steps.

Since this is our first time doing this walk, we will probably need to work on figuring out how we like to do it best. If you show up, you can be part of the design. Thanks!
