Speaker bio
Shawkot Hossain is an aspiring Product Security Engineer based in Helsinki who is passionate about application and offensive security. He completed his master’s thesis on software supply chain security and is intrigued by its relevance in modern software development practices. In his free time, he loves baking and exploring bug bounty programs. Shawkot is an avid reader who enjoys books spanning application security, self-development, and philosophy.
Markus Hölsä is a Kotka made cybersecurity expert and host of the Turvaverkko podcast, dedicated to making digital safety understandable for everyone. Specializing in CaaS and AI threats, Markus is also a prominent information security activist who has been scrutinizing EU legislation—specifically Chat Control—since 2022.
