Helsinki Apache Kafka Meetup - end-of-year

It's been a while since the last meetup, but it's finally time to get together again for an exciting evening talking Kafka.

5:40pm - Preventing uneven distribution of data across Kafka partitions by Olena Babenko, Sr. Software Engineer at Aiven

The uneven data distribution between partitions is a disaster for the Kafka broker, consumer, and even data producer. In this talk, we will discuss why uneven data distribution is terrible for Kafka's performance and show some examples. We will also discuss preventing such a situation by changing the Kafka producer, consumer, or broker configuration.
