Web-standards, new tools and updated browsers. The web continues to evolve rapidly and the major industry players are encouraging us towards a standardised and plugin free web. But what’s the reality? During the free 1-day seminar we will explore what’s next with HTML5 and hear real-life experiences from Finnish players about the maturity of JavaScript tools and environments that are on everyone’s lips.

Christian takes complex technical things and translate them to various audiences in an understandable format. With about 20 years of experience in web technologies and a background as a Front End Architect he understands the market and the fluctuations of technology and how to find and support talent to both create new products and to talk about them in a sensible fashion. He has published a few books on JavaScript, API design, accessibility and scalable front-end technologies and spoken at dozens of conferences about the now and tomorrow of technology. http://christianheilmann.com/

The event will be organized at Nosturi, Helsinki and it’s free of charge for all attendees. All talks will be in English.
