Hey, artists of all kinds! 👋

This is a friendly portrait sketching meetup in Helsinki. We get together at the host’s home, a café, or a park to draw each other while chatting and enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. The main goal is simple: have fun drawing people, relax, and make new friends! 😊

What We Do

We meet up and take turns sketching each other. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a professional artist, a complete beginner, or somewhere in between. Art is art—we’re not here to judge anyone!
Let’s enjoy a relaxing and creative time together.

How It Works

One person volunteers to be the model and poses for 10 minutes while everyone else sketches them. Afterward, the model chooses the next volunteer.

Being the model is easy—just sit or stand still in any pose you like. You can look at your phone, read a book, drink coffee, or simply relax. It’s nothing serious! 😊

Friendly Rules

1. Bring your own drawing materials, such as a sketchbook, pencils, or pens.
2. Please don’t ask the model to change their pose. The pose is entirely the model’s choice.
3. Be respectful and considerate of everyone. If someone repeatedly disturbs others while they’re sketching, the host may kindly ask them to leave.
4. We’ll use English so that everyone feels welcome and the group can be as international as possible.
5. Please don’t criticize or judge anyone else’s drawings. Be kind, supportive, and friendly.
6. Most importantly, enjoy your sketching time!

Once at least four people are interested in attending an in-person meetup, the host will organize an event. It may take place at the host’s home, a café, or a park.
