Grands Social Tournament - Singles

Welcome to Grands Social Singles Tournament ☺️✌🏻

This is not only a fun way to play tennis and have fun, but also to get to know new people you can continue to play with. Thus, we are looking forward to get a good mix of old and new Grands Players. Please see below for additional details of the event:

Format: Singles Social Tournament. We will divide players to two groups of 6 who will play in five round-robin matches of 15min. After round-robin everyone will play additional 1-3 roughly 10min tie-break matches.

Level: This event is for intermediate players so levels 3.5 (ish and upwards). In case of big level variation we might build groups based on levels.

Schedule: We will have a check-in at Meilahti 15:30 with a quick welcome introduction. At 16:00 we have a 10min on court warm-up and we will start matches at 16:10. Playoffs rounds will start at 18:00 and final is scheduled at 18:40.

Apres-tennis: Possible post-tennis beers at the either at sports centers bar or somewhere nearby.

Capacity: We have place for 12 players.

Location: Meilahti Tennis Center

Language: All Grands events are by default held in English, as well as local language.

Fee: 40e per person. To be paid via payment link before the event.

Cancellation: Latest possible cancellation on Tue 11th of June at 21:00. Cancellations after that are still obligated to pay fee for the tournament.
