This week’s destination is, "Cathedral Rock” in Mt. Charleston Wilderness. Carpool with Sydney from Henderson (see comment)!
The trail begins with a gentle climb through quiet aspen and evergreen forest, then transitions to more exposed terrain with dramatic cliffside views. The final stretch is steep with switchbacks, culminating in a summit that offers sweeping panoramas of surrounding peaks and the desert below—a short but rewarding hike that blends forest serenity with a STRONG uphill finish.
