Saturday Night Hike: “Phainopepla Pass Trail” (Moderate 2.5mi) | 20’s and 30’s

Join us on Phainopepla Pass Trail this Saturday evening! Flashlights and headlamps will be provided.

A moderate, scenic hike through Sloan Canyon with some fun terrain and rewarding views. This one’s a short but solid climb with a playful downhill to finish.

We’ll start from the McCulloch parking area, take a steady uphill with a few rocky sections, and reach a saddle with beautiful views of Henderson and the Vegas skyline. Then comes the highlight—a fast, fun downhill stretch (“Chunky Monkey”) leading into a sandy wash back toward the trailhead.
