Hendo Fun Friends MeetUp announces events that are many and varied in Henderson County. We do this imperfectly, but often. "Building Community one friend at a time"

The music scene in our area is a cornucopia of varied scenes, venues and artists.
Henderson Co. also hosts many festivals and art events.
The Sloth Hiking Group is proud to be the slowest hike group in the Carolinas. We dare to go where the 'real' hike groups don't.
We also have 2 walking groups.
We welcome new ideas and venues - especially when you volunteer to Host the event!
Our group is all-inclusive: we are single, married and widowed... rich and poor... working and retired... native born, transplants, and immigrants... residents and visitors... followers of various philosophies and religions.

The Land O’ Sky Garden Club’s Christmas Bazaar offers the best in fresh greenery, holiday gifts and tasty treats.
As the saying goes, “locals know the best places to shop,” and this one-day annual sale is always popular as the bazaar packs J&D Produce with a dazzling array of gifts and décor.
Among the highlights are handmade wreaths that can be embellished with multiple options at the “wreath bar.” Also popular are fresh yule logs adorned with local greenery and the garden club’s signature paperwhites and amaryllis bulbs in festive pots from rustic to sophisticated.
New this year are a limited number of fresh greenery-made reindeer suitable for placing indoors or outdoors. As always, the bazaar provides delicious baked goods, jams and homemade treats. This rain-or-shine event is a long-time favorite for holiday shoppers.
In addition, proceeds from this one-day-only sale are reinvested into the community, funding gardens, scholarships and local programs in Henderson County.
