What we’re about
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” – C.S. Lewis
Keeping it simple & local - we help create opportunities for 50-plussers to try new things, discover new places, and make a new friend -or- two!!
Beyond the 50-year mark is no small thing and with that, life can bring many unexpected challenges! Many of us still find ourselves working full-time, having adult children move back home to save costs and cramp our style, saying good-bye to old friends as they retire and move away, and dealing with the inevitable loss of a parent or family member is par for the course.
If you are a native or newbie to the area, we hope you join us as we continue to navigate the challenges, partake in 50+ adventuring while sharing our stories, lifting each others spirits, and engaging our curiosity.
If you have Social Media, please feel free to share announcements, posts, and events on your pages. We appreciate the outreach and support to help each other connect!
As this is 100% volunteer based, we appreciate any help you can lend! Have an idea for in-person or virtual event? Want to host your own event with the help of 50+? Please message the organizer!

Circle Square Farm Event Center, 274 Little River Campground Rd, Pisgah Forest, NC, USThanksgiving is a wonderful time of year to gather together in gratitude and share in table fellowship. Join us as we celebrate the season, making new friends and creating wonderful memories with the 50+ community in Hendersonville NC.
Bring one or more savory -or- sweet brunch dishes to share and join us for a "Buffet-Style" Friendsgiving at a local farm that turned the main barn and horse-stalls into a rustic-chic event center. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue with weathered and character-rich wood furniture and accents straight from Oklahoma.
There is no main course such as Turkey or Ham planned, nor do we have any special desserts lined-up. We will eat and be blessed by whatever bounty is brought forth! The buffet table will have warming stations and extension cords should you need to plug-in a crockpot and/or keep a pan warm for serving.
***This is a no-cost event***
Classic brunch cocktails as well as coffee, tea, and juices will be served. And no need to bring plates, cups, or utensils as all table service is included with the venue.Plenty of adventuring to do in and around the farm; outdoor seating & firepit, goats, chickens, and the Little River is just steps from the venue. Inside there are dart boards, board games, a piano, dance floor, and plenty of extra cozy chairs, sofas, and eating spaces to sit and visit.
You are welcome to bring a family member(s) or friend(s), all ages welcome!
Happy Thanksgiving Y'all! Hope you can join us!
