Our first HER+Data meetup of 2019 will take place on Monday January 28th at Intercom with talks from more amazing women who work with data! We’ll have great talks from female data scientists, leaders and women passionate about AI & ML so come along, ask questions and meet other women who love data!

Lia Solis Obineche is an AI Engineer at UnitedHealth Group (bio to follow)
Karen Church is Director of Product Analytics & Data Science at Intercom. She leads a growing team of product analysts, data scientists and data engineers across Dublin and London who generate insights to help Intercom design, develop and measure the success of its products. Prior to Intercom, she spent 8 years in industrial research labs focusing predominately on mining, understanding and modeling mobile user behaviors. Most recently, Karen led a team of research scientists focused on native & mobile ad analytics at Yahoo Research, California. She was also a Research Scientist in the scientific team in Telefonica Research, Barcelona. Karen holds a PhD in Computer Science from University College Dublin and a BSc in Computer Science from ITB. She is founder of the HER+Data community and co-organises the Dublin HER+Data chapter.
Martina Naughton is a Senior Data Scientist at Zalando Dublin. She has a PhD in Natural Language Processing from University College Dublin and is a machine learning developer and researcher with over 7 years in the industry. She began her career at Intel in 2011. Following this, she worked as a senior research scientist at Aon Insurance before joining Zalando in 2016. As part of Zalando's Intelligence Team, she heads up a cross functional team of data scientists, software engineers and domain experts that build innovative solutions to advance our ability to automatically understand fashion using machine learning. She is also active in the wider tech community and co-organises the HER+Data Dublin meetup!
