We're back with our first in person HER+Data meetup since 2019! An evening time event on Thursday February 9th @6:30pm Irish Time. We'll have 2 talks from 3 amazing women who work with data! Join, ask questions and meet other women who love data.

Speakers:
Liz Cotter Associate Director, KPMG

Liz is an Associate Director in Applied Intelligence at KPMG. Liz works with clients on assessing current data maturity and developing and implementing Data Strategies to enable growth, cost reduction and efficiency.

Prior to KPMG, Liz was Global Commercial Data Governance Lead in Diageo. Liz developed the Commercial Data team to deliver best practice Data Management and Governance across a complex landscape and managed project data resources to enable large scale, integrated transformation programmes.

Liz is going to talk to us about the importance of Data Governance and Strategy in enabling transformation and analytics.

Silvia Amaduzzi, Design Manager, Workday

Born in Bologna, but living in Dublin, Silvia is a Design Manager with 12+ years of experience in leading teams of Product designers and UX Researchers across multiple products and industries including insurance, travel, advertising, retail and gaming.

She is process driven and has more than once set up design functions from scratch, both in waterfall and agile environments, making sure that the design process was understood and valued by all stakeholders and making design a strategic asset for the business.

Ceara Grogan, UX Researcher, Workday
Ceara is UX Researcher passionate about solving problems for stakeholders and users alike by taking a human-centred approach to building great products and providing validated data to drive the best outcomes for users. She uses qualitative UX research and employs a mixed methods approach to her research, as well as weaving in Design Thinking. Having worked in Product Management before moving into UX Research, Ceara has extensive experience in both User Experience and Product Management, spending the last 12 years working across multiple industries including Insurance, Health and Social Care, and Analytics.

Silvia and Ceara will talk about data and data visualizations for users that aren't data savvy: lessons from user research.
