We're back with another in person HER+Data meetup! An evening time event on Thursday November 30th @6:30pm (Irish Time), hosted at Stripe. We'll have LLM themed talks from amazing women. Join, ask questions and meet other women who love data.

Speakers:
Jennifer Murphy, Staff Product Researcher at Intercom
Jen is a Staff Product Researcher at Intercom, where she's been based for the last 6+ years. Intercom is a B2B SaaS company that offers a complete customer service platform. Jen started her career at Intercom as a research intern, and across her tenure has worked across most of Intercom's different product areas. For the past year she's been more focused on the GTM side of the business, from understanding our buyers, to leveraging customer insight from our sale team. Jen is particularly interested in standardising and improving how we capture and synthesise customer feedback and insight from different areas of the business, so that we can get a holistic view of our customers’ needs. Recently she's been experimenting with GPT to scale analysis of large volumes of customer feedback and extract insight from sales calls, as she believes that AI will be a very useful and important colleague to researchers and data scientists. Jen is going to share more about how she and the RAD team in Intercom is using GPT.

Sophie Daly, Staff Data Scientist at Stripe
Sophie is a staff DS currently working on improving UX and efficiency for Stripe’s Support Operations team. Her favourite thing about being a data scientist is getting to work on a huge variety of business problems, and using analysis and machine learning to solve them. Her hobbies include trying to keep up with the impossibly fast-growing LLM space (inside work), and rewatching The Office (outside work). For this meetup, Sophie will chat about some of the lessons learned productionising Stripe's first application of language modelling for Support. Ideally, her past headaches / woes can serve as good tips so you can avoid these gotchas when working with LLMs!
