We're back with another in person HER+Data meetup! An evening time event on Tuesday, July 30th @6:30pm, hosted at Personio. We'll have talks from two amazing women - Sara Young and Verna Wall. Join, ask questions and meet other folks who love data.

Speakers:

Sara Young, Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Operations, Personio
Talk Title: “Including Data Literacy in your Strategy”.
Sara has worked in the Data industry for 9 years and has always been extremely passionate about Data Literacy & Enablement, Data storytelling and providing true impact insights to stakeholders. She started her career as a Data consultant in KPMG UK then moved to Australia to continue Data consulting at KPMG Melbourne. She then moved into the tech world, working for Deputy (HR software) as a Senior Data Analytics manager. Sara moved home to Ireland last year and has since been working for Personio creating and implementing a Data strategy to improve Data Literacy across the company. This is a huge passion of Saras as she's experienced all levels of data literacy including what does and doesn't work to improve it! Personio is an all-in-one HR software solution and has 2000 employees.

Verna Wall, Head of Research, Phorest Salon Software
Talk Title: “Storytelling with Data”
Verna started her career in radiation therapy, where she learned a great deal about gathering insights & data to inform decisions, before taking a leap into the world of software. Verna joined Phorest in 2019 as a Product Intern and has spent the last 5 years working closely with colleagues and clients to share insights from the ever evolving salon industry. She is going to speak about how she combines qualitative insights with data to tell memorable stories on stage at the annual Phorest Summit.
