Here There Be Monsters Con 2013

From the depths it rises: a nuclear powered force of nerdosity and geekstruction to melt your brain! Here There Be Monsters Con is BACK!

For you newcomers, Here There Be Monsters Con aims to take all of the treasure hunting, cos playing, game testing, and nerd debating of a comic convention, add a dash of good eats and cold drinks, and a heaping helping of Austin weird. Oh yeah, and there's monsters. Our aim is to break down the remaining stereotypes and stigmas that surround comic, sci-fi, and fantasy culture, and make it accessible to everyone. So if you've been hiding an inner nerd, have a significant other who doesn't understand why you can't pare down your collection, or think that comics mean smelly, dank, retail dungeons, then come on out and have your old views blown away with radioactive awesome! Tickets are $10 at the door, and get you in to everything at the show. Panels and events are still being finalized, so stay tuned for announcements over the next few weeks. Trust me, we have some amazing stuff for you this year.

And for those of you who came out last year, we want to say a great big "Thank you!" You guys helped us forge something incredible, and our goal is to pay you back every year by giving you the con you want and deserve. Austin, nerd is bond!
