10AM: We’ll kick off outside Gare du Sud, with coffee and connections, and hear the story of its impressive construction, its closure in 1991, and the stunning restoration that began in 2008.

11AM: Enjoy a light-hearted but fascinating historical walking tour of Place de la Libération, including tales of the Charles de Gaulle statue, WWII resistance, and the Liberation speeches that echoed through these very streets.

We’ll wander through the local market, peek into the Triperie and pastis bar, stroll through Jardin Thiole, and uncover the stories behind street names like Joseph Garnier, Clément Roassal, and Malaussena. and of course a little stop for a snack for socca and pan bagnat, Cheese and Wine (you will buy your own wines and drinks) from the famous Tintin kiosk.

1PM:🥖🍷We'll stop for lunch at Nice’s oldest brasserie - everyone pays for their own lunch and drinks.

And… keep your ears open! There’ll be quizzes with prizes along the way.

Fee: €20 (plus buy your own lunch and drinks) the money goes directly to pay our fantastic local tour guide)
