About us
HERGhana is a Ghanaian-led international menstrual equity non-profit focused on equipping young girls and women with evidence-based knowledge about menstrual health, and providing innovative and sustainable products for menstrual health management.
In doing so, HERGhana’s work directly addresses SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being)—ensuring that menstrual health is not a barrier to education, dignity, or opportunity.
We primarily deliver programming in rural Ghana (Volta Region), with offices in Akatsi and Toronto.
