THE STORTFORD CENTURY - NEW FOR 2026

We've got a brand-new ride for you this summer - introducing The Stortford Century, taking place Sunday 19th of July 2026.

It's the newest addition to our calendar, starting from Bishop's Stortford Rugby Club, and run exactly the way you've come to expect from a SportiveUK day: friendly faces, well-marked roads and a warm welcome waiting at the feed stations. .

Here's a fun first, it's also our very first metric sportive. We've swapped miles for kilometres, which gives the whole ride a lovely continental feel, and let's be honest, those numbers tick by a fair bit quicker out on the road. Pick your distance:

- 25K - a relaxed, well-marked spin through gorgeous countryside. Perfect for an easy social day or bringing someone new along.

- 50K - the sweet spot. Scenic lanes with just enough climbing to feel properly earned.

- 100K - the full challenge. Quiet lanes, ancient woodland, punchy climbs, and that unbeatable finish-line feeling.

Whichever you choose, your entry includes everything you'd expect from us: chip timing, well-stocked feed stations, mechanical and emergency support on the road, event photography, online results, and the pick-up wagon if you need it. You just turn up and ride, we'll handle the rest.

P.S. HQ is just off the A10 & M11, and Bishop's Stortford station has regular trains from London - easy to reach however you're travelling.
