About us
Hi, I'm the mom behind Her Village. Like a lot of first-time moms, I've had moments of feeling really alone, even surrounded by people, even loving my son more than anything.
My son doesn't go to daycare, so beyond our immediate family, he hasn't had much chance to be around other kids his age, and I know I'm not the only mom in that boat.
I started Her Village because I wanted to build the community I was looking for myself.
A place where moms don't have to choose between showing up for their kids and having a life of their own. A place where our kids can play together and grow up seeing that community, and where we as moms get to remember who we are outside of "mom" too.
We don't have to do this alone. That's the whole idea behind Her Village, bringing moms and kids together so nobody has to feel isolated in motherhood.
