Neighborhood Exploration #1: Mississippi

One of the things I love about Portland is how unique each neighborhood is so I thought it would be fun to explore different areas together.
We’ll start with Mississippi, which is known for the nightlife but we’re going to see what’s going on in this neighborhood during the day.
First, we’ll meet in front of Rose City Comics. We’ll head in and browse through their comics and graphic novels. Next, we’ll swing by Mint Gallery Records, known for carrying limited prints as well as art exhibits.
The third stop will be Flutter, a shop full of vintage and new items, such as, clothing and housewares.
Finally, we’ll end at Prost Marketplace, a food truck pod with well knowns like Matt’s BBQ and DesiPDX.
This will be an afternoon of discovering hidden gems, making new friends, and supporting local businesses.
