Mission:
Our mission is to cultivate a warm and inclusive environment where people can connect, share experiences, and grow together through a variety of small group events. We strive to build a community that encourages supportive relationships and meaningful interactions, helping each member expand their social circle with genuine friendships.

Respectful RSVPs:
If your plans change and you can no longer attend an event, please update your RSVP as soon as possible. This allows others the opportunity to participate and helps the host manage the event more effectively. -
Drama-Free Zone:
Our group thrives on positivity and respect. We expect all members to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the group. -
Safety First:
We prioritize your safety. If you plan to drink at an event, please arrange for safe transportation home. Driving under the influence is strictly prohibited, and we encourage members to look out for one another. Additionally, weapons and illegal substances are not allowed at our events. -
Event Photos:
Photos and videos may be taken at our events and shared on our social platforms. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the event organizer in advance. -
Read Event Details:
Before attending an event, make sure to read all the details carefully. This ensures you know what to expect and any specific instructions that apply. If your availability changes, kindly update your RSVP accordingly. -
Personal Responsibility:
Participation in our activities is voluntary and at your own risk. Please assess your own capabilities and comfort levels before joining any event. The group and its organizers are not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur. -
Conduct at Events:
Our gatherings are intended for socializing and fostering connections in a respectful manner. Please adhere to venue rules and be mindful of others’ boundaries. Interactions should be courteous and consensual. If any issues arise, notify the event host immediately. -
Direct Messaging (DMs):
Direct messaging between members should be respectful and considerate. Only message someone if it is clear they are open to receiving DMs or if you have established a mutual agreement in person. Any inappropriate messages should be reported to the group’s leadership. -
Issues and Concerns:
If you encounter a problem during an event, please bring it to the event host’s attention right away so it can be addressed. For post-event concerns, contact the group organizers through the designated communication channels.

Join us at Hoppy Monk on May the 4th! Whether you're a Jedi, Sith, or just a fan of the galaxy far, far away, this meetup is aimed at sharing some Star Wars social times.
Come dressed as your favorite character or simply wear your Star Wars gear—there's no dress code, just bring your appreciation for the franchise! While food and drinks are available, they're completely optional. This is a casual event to enjoy the company and conversation.

Let's go hang out at the McNay Art Museum and listen to some music and fun!
OK, so, my grandsons arrival in this world is imminent. In the event he arrives on 2nd Thursday, the event will be hostless, and I encourage everyone that signs up to show up and have fun!
McNay 2nd Thursday is a wonderful mid-week event to chill, listen to live music, and hang with friends. This venue showcases local talent and many different styles of music that everyone can enjoy. I have never had a bad time at the McNay!

Music starts at 6:30p.m. and ends at 8:30p.m.The McNay requests you register online for this free event so they can get a good count of attendees to provide adequate services. It takes about two minutes to complete registration.
Things happen, so if you cannot attend, please update your RSVP to “Not Going”

Second Thursday - May 2025 - McNay Art MuseumOutdoors at The McNay:
- Art activities by the Koi Pond begin at 6 p.m.
- Bring your blanket and lawn chairs to lounge on the grounds while listening to live music.
- Bring your own backpack with water, wines, sandwiches, whatever.
- This event is Dog-friendly (outside).
- Food trucks on campus. The 2nd Thursday event in March did not have much variety in food trucks as in the past, So, do what I do, and bring your own picnic basket!Inside the Museum:
- Main collection galleries will be free of charge from 4 to 9pm. Cool off inside! See the current exhibitions!How to find us:
There is no reserved seating for this event. I will get there early and find a spot inside the circle drive and right-hand facing side of museum. There is an attached photo with pin drop.Getting There:
Parking is free at the McNay, but it is limited. These lots are located behind the Jones Building, off of Emporia Blvd and off of New Braunfels Ave.
